"Undersmile
are an Oxford based, two girl fronted sludge metal band and ‘A Sea Of
Dead Snakes’ (November 15, Blindsight) is their debut record and very
accomplished it is too. Five tracks of crushingly claustrophobic, doom
laden riffage this needs to be played really, really loud and
preferably listened to in the dark under the influence of heavy drugs,
especially the immense, ten minute behemoth that is ‘Teutonic
Dyslexia’. Monstrous!"
