Headcount formed in 1999 in deepest darkest rural Oxfordshire. A fearsome three piece playing a punk/metal hybrid at an incredible volume and with the pace to match. The first album “It’s a business doing pleasure with you” was released in 2002 on Mettle Tester records and recently again on Blindsight. It got a KKKK review in Kerrang and featured fabled Ant person Mr Marco Pirroni on guitar on four tracks.

2004 saw Headcount hook up with Malicious Damage records to bring you Die Monkey Die, produced by Martin Radcliffe and Paul Raven from Killing Joke, it features 12 full on punk rock monsters. Radio 1 airplay, interviews with Bruce Dickinson on Radio 6 and radio play in the States and Sweden.
