A little known gem of a band from Oxford, Harry Angel recorded with me a week ago. They recorded two songs, “Get Out” and “The River”, and many tweaks later the songs are sounding absolutely huge. All recording done with tube preamps and dynamic/condenser/ribbon/tube microphones to capture that warm sound that I absolutely love.

The drums especially have the live feel and depth of sound that I have been making my own in the studio over years, the bass is a grumbling beast and the guitars warm and hazy and in your face. Chris’ vox float above the proceedings with his lush textural tones treated with plenty of Klark Teknic DN780 reverb, Bell BD80 delay and Roland Space Echo.
